The circular trail around the Tanzboden and the Heilig Wasser Chapel offers wonderful views over the Mühlviertel region to the Alps.
0 km  You start at Marktplatz Haslach, cross the main road (car park) and then turn right, slightly uphill  to Hochgärten.

0.5 km  Turn left into Hohlweg, walk slightly uphill past the barn. When you turn round, you have a wonderful view of Haslach. Continue along a forest path to ...
 
2.7 km ... Haid. From here you can see the north side of Tanzboden and the large Mühltal valley towards Aigen. After 200 metres, turn left on the road and continue slightly downhill to the Leitenmühle (Zach). Turn right uphill on the tarmac road and then immediately left again to ...

4.8 km ...  Heilig Wasser Kapelle walk. The first chapel was built around 1250 and the current one dates back to around 1470. Next to the chapel is a well, of which the following legend is told. Many years ago, when people were travelling from Haslach to Mutterberg in Bohemia, they passed a certain spot where they heard voices and singing, but could not see anyone. As soon as they had passed, the voices and singing fell silent. The Leitenmüller had a chapel built at this spot. Since then, the mysterious voices have fallen silent.
The chapel was restored by Belgian and French prisoners of war out of gratitude for having survived their captivity in good health. Next to the chapel, a fountain was built from rough, unhewn stones, which is supplied with water from the spring located above the fountain. 4.9 km ... quiet rest area - and continue to Hörleinsödt. Shortly before Hörleinsödt, at the memorial cross, you have a beautiful view over the upper Mühlviertel and, with good visibility, as far as the Alps.
